Our BSc Accounting and Finance degree gives you a solid grounding in the challenges of managing organisations, information technology and analytical skills alongside finance and accounting fundamentals.
The foundation year will help you to broaden your industry knowledge and enable you to progress to a related undergraduate degree. It aims to help you develop a strong foundation of business knowledge, alongside academic and transferable skills to ensure you get the most out of your degree-level studies.

Foundation Year - (Year 0)
Integrated Foundation Year (year zero)
The Foundation Year is designed to provide you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to excel in your future studies. You’ll join a supportive and engaging learning environment that will help you develop an understanding of business principles and management practices. With a focus on real-world applications, this foundation year is an ideal stepping stone to the next phase of your degree.
It is essential that you include a professionally written CV to support your application, which flows naturally from your relevant employment history.

Entry requirements

To apply for this course (From Year ONE) will require the following:
- a minimum of two A Levels or
- a BTEC National Diploma or
- a combination of BTEC and A Level qualifications equivalent to two A Levels (such as a BTEC subsidiary certificate) and one A Level or
- a pass at T Level or
- an Access to Higher Education Diploma or
- an International or Welsh Baccalaureate or
- a Higher National Diploma/Higher National Certificate or
- a minimum of two Advanced Highers from Scotland or
- the Irish Leaving Certificate or
- the European Baccalaureate Diploma or
- an equivalent overseas qualification.
